Proraso Shaving Cream, Moisturizing and Nourishing formula, is enriched with Sandalwood Oil and Shea Butter to soften even the thickest and toughest beards. The blade glides easily and the beard, softened by the synergic action of the Pre-shaving Emollient Cream and Emollient Soap, is easier to shave. The traditional vegetable stearin-based formula is enriched with nourishing botanical extracts and natural oils to protect the skin before, during and after shaving, and helps the blade glide smoothly, reducing razor burn.
Proraso Shaving Cream in a Tube is still made today in accordance with a rigorous “hot soap”-making process, during which it’s left to mature for 3 days, resulting in an ultra-rich soap that, especially with the aid of a brush, produces an incomparably thick, creamy, soft lather.

Short on time? With a brush: Apply your favorite Proraso Pre-Shave Cream to your damp face (for optimal results). Run your shaving brush under hot running water for about 30 seconds, if you don’t have time to soak it. (The brush will absorb a good amount of water – just not as much as if soaked.) Squeeze about 2cm of theShaving Cream onto your brush. Dampen face with warm water, and work the brush into your scruff/stubble. You should be able to achieve a decent lather in fewer than 90 seconds. This method also works well if you’re shaving in the shower. Shave and rinse, following with your favorite Proraso After Shave Balm or Lotion.
Using your hands: After applying your favorite Proraso Pre-Shave cream (for optimal results), squeeze about 2cm of the Shaving Cream into the palm of your hand, then add a small amount of water (less than a tsp). Work cream and water together until suds begin to form. Apply mixture into your scruff/stubble using your fingers, massaging in circular movements until a lather forms. If necessary, add a little more water to the face as you continue working the lather. Once a lather has formed, shave and rinse thoroughly, following with your favorite Proraso After Shave Balm or Lotion.
